On women`s day 45 out of 67 medals goes to female students

-Medals distributed on Foundation Day at JNPG College

Lucknow.The Founder’s day (Annual Fest-2025) was celebrated today in Sri Jai Narayan Misra PG College Lucknow today.Justice  Rajeev Singh, High Court, Allahabad, bench Lucknow inaugurated the function by lighting up the lamp before the Goddess of wisdom mother Saraswati. He gave medals, certificate and award money to the recipients of the medals for their achievements in the field of Academics, Sports, Cultural Programs, NCC and NSS during session of  2023- 24. Total 67 medals were given to the students.

Justice Singh also launched five journals of college along with annual magazine Jyoti Kiran for edition 2025. He said that the students pass out from this college are working in excellent way in the field of judiciary. He said that a school is not known by its building. It is known by its sincere and accountable teachers, staff, teaching methodologies and the academic environment. He said that the behavior of all these stakeholders towards students must be very cordial because the students are very much curious to have knowledge.It’s our responsibility to educate them very sincerely and delicately because their future is reflective to the future of nation He emphasized that the education must be behavioral instead of orienting on theories only. He said that schools and colleges are the best place to have behavioral as well as theoretical knowledge.

He said that we often get opportunity to do something well and if we fail to explore the opportunity positively then our life may suffer. He appreciated female students of the college for achieving 45 out of 67 medals on the occasion of Women’s Day. He also appreciated female students having the two most prestigious medals of the college; say President’s medal which was given to Sanyukta Singh and the Principal’s medal to Saman Khan. These students were  also given the prize money of rupees  21000/- and rupees 15000/-  respectively. The chief guest also gave medals to best NCC cadets, Under Officer,  Aryan Singh and Sakshi Yadav. The best NSS volunteer medal was given to  Shivani Rakesh and Ashmit Singh. The best sports person medal was given to Ishika Gupta and Jay Bharat Dubey.

Mr.V.N. Misra, the President of college Management Committee gave his blessings to all the medal recipients and inspired them by saying that they should not stop their journey here.They should go long long way on the path of success. Mr G.C. Shukla, Secretary Manager of the college expressed gratitude to all the invitees and participants of the function.

Professor (Dr.) Vinod Chandra, Principal of the college welcomed all the guests on the occasion. He presented a progress report of the college and said that there are 5 new courses to be initiated in new academic session 2025-26.  These will be BA in Psychology and Geography, BCA, LLB 5 years and M.Sc. in Maths. He also said that an add -on- certificate course will be started in new academic session based on AI and machine learning.

Prof. Payal Gupta anchored the program. Mr. Gopal Narayan Mishra, the vice president, Mr G.C. Shukla, the Secretary Manager, Mr Sanmay Shukla, assistant secretary Manager, Ms. Shikha Shukla, Mr Ashok Lakhmani, various distinguished guests from different colleges, the teachers, employees and students were present on the occasion.
